Raksha Bandhan – A Thread of Love
Raksha Bandhan is a festival which highlights the love between a brother and sister. It’s a north Indian festival celebrated by brothers and sisters to express their love, affection and emotions. Later this festival is celebrated all over India.
On this day, Sisters ties Rakhi on the wrist of her brother as a thread of love and will put Tilak on the forehead of her brother and wish them all success. They both will pray God for the well being of each other.
Brothers give gift to their sisters as a token of love and make promises to take care of their sisters in all situations as a bond of protection.
It creates a faithful bond between siblings and creates a trustable relationship and leaves a meaningful message that time and things may change but the love and bond between us never changes.
A beautiful relationship in the world is a relationship between a brother and sister. It cannot be expressed in words because it is a sweet relationship which holds lots of love, care and affection.
Raksha Bandhan also called as Rakhi festival, celebrates the sacred relationship between brothers and sisters. Like all other Indian festival, this festival is also marked by celebrations, exchange of sweets and gifts, accompanied by singing, dancing and enjoyments to express happiness and joy.
